Combine sulfur and iron to become a mixture. Add heat to form a compound. Then use the two elements sulfur and iron.
Our lab was we took the zinc oxide and put it in a test tube with 15Ml of water. Then put a stopper on the top of the tube. It turned white and was not transparent.
When we took the copper sulfate we did the same thing that we did with the zinc oxide. Although it turned blue. Members of our class are saying it looks like koolaid.

Today we did a lab on the effect of concentration on the apperance of kool aid solution. First we measured 3 test tubes with 10 mL of water each. Then we balanced the scale to zero. Then we put a green piece of folded paper on the scale. The paper weighed 1.2 grams. After that we moved the scale to 1.7 grams. Then put kool aid powder on the green paper till the scale balanced out even. After that we did the same thing for the 2 test tubes. The second test tube we added 1.0 grams to the scale. Then put as much kool aid on the scale till it balanced out. for the 3rd test tube we did the exact same thing. We moved the scale 1.5 grams over and put as much kool aid on the scale till it balanced out. First test tube was red and transparent. The second test tube was bright red and opaque. Then the 3rd test tube was bright red not opaque and the thickest.
